The basic belief of finite elements or FEM (Finite Elements Method) is based on dividing the object to be explored in a certain number of single partitions, the so-called finite (limited) elements. These elements can be areas (triangles, squares) or volumes (tetraeder, hexaeder). Using them makes it possible to model complex devices or even whole facilities true to draft and then to explore the entire load behavior in a Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) later on.
